Ada Detectable Warning Device (Model H-2850)

The ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Detectable Warning Device, model H-2850, is an ADA Turbomat Texture Roller designed to meet the specifications established by the government for concrete contractors to assist persons with disabilities. In order to determine a distinctively-textured walking surface, this mat utilizes truncated domes at closely spaced intervals to establish a unique warning texture for persons who are blind or have low vision. The surface mat allows the concrete contractor to roll the specified ADA pattern onto the designated surface of a concrete slab or ramp which helps to signal an impending change.
