The Adapt-A-Tray is a laptray designed to provide upper body positioning for people with spinal cord injury or neurological or severe physical disabilities who use wheelchairs. The system incorporates a tray with a hole-punched surface to enable attachment of brackets and padded blocks to aid in positioning of the upper extremities, equipment, communication aids, or activities. The starter kit includes one tray with holes, one overlay to create a smooth tray surface, four 45-degreec attachment brackets with pin, one 45-degree attachment bracket without pin, four 60-degree attachment brackets with pin, one 60-degree attachment bracket without pin, four 90-degree attachment brackets with pin, one 90-degree attachment bracket without pin, one package with 24 cap screws, 16 T-nuts, and six washers, 10 padded blocks in six sizes, a set of tray atachment straps, a set of limb and equipment attaching straps, and a pair of arm cuffs (all components are also sold separately).If needed, holes can be created in the tray overly to enable the blocks and brackets to be used in conjunction with the overlay. The padded blocks have hook-and-loop surfaces for strap attachment. DIMENSIONS: The blocks come in 3.5 x 3.5 inches, 3.5 x 6 inches, 6 x 3.5 inches, 6 x 6 inches, 12 x 6 inches, and 12 x 12 inches. The tray attachment straps are 2 inches wide x 24 inches long. The limb positioning/equipment straps are 48 inches long x 1 inch wide, 28 inches long x 1 inch wide, and 48 inches long x 2 inches wide. COLOR: The tray attachment straps and the 28 x 1 inch limb strap are black.
