iPractice Verbs is a voice output flash card program and a language and vocabulary tutorial program designed for use by language therapists and parents working with children who have cognitive, communication, developmental, hearing, learning, or physical disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a therapist or parent to use their Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to help children learn and practice basic English verbs. iPractice Verbs comes with over 120 verbs in present, present progressive, and past tense. It also has corresponding images and audio, totaling almost 1000 stimuli. The user can practice at three different levels - word, phrase and sentence - with the flexibility to select which verbs to practice at any level. There are also two modes available: "Flashcards" and "Find it." The child can practice learning verbs with 'Flashcards" mode. The "Find it" mode is a multiple choice game for selecting the correct verb. When the child selects the correct corresponding image, he or she is rewarded with audio praise; and when the child selects an incorrect image, the choices are narrowed and he or she is encouraged to try again. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.2 or later.
