The Talking Bulletin Board II, model 04-30-17, is a voice output sign designed to provide important information for individuals who are blind or have low vision, are functionally illiterate, or are dyslexic. The major application is in situations in which there are bulletin boards to which notices are attached, such as events in public schools, special courses being offered in colleges, lectures or speakers posted in libraries, menus in cafeterias, noticces of games in gymnasiums, etc. The Talking Bulletin Board II can be installed beside the visual bulletin board and plugged into a standard outlet. The appropriate person can plug in a portable microphone (included) and record each of the notices on the board at that time. Anyone who cannot read the notices can push a button on the Tlking Bulletin Board II and listen to the content of each of the notices. The message can be changed by recording over. No erasure is necessary.
